Located on nine acres of beautiful rolling hills in scenic Jo Daviess county Illinois, Bowser B&B and Bowser Academy offers a unique interactive boarding program and a variety of training and behavioral programs for the family dog. Our residence is on the property adjacent to where all the dogs are housed allowing us to monitor their safety around the clock.

We serve suburban Chicago as well as local families and provide a flexible pickup and delivery system designed to meet the needs of the client. We feature roomy, safe pickup and delivery of your dog right from your doorstep.

Dogs are fed per your instructions (you supply the food). Medications are dispensed at no additional charge. Additional feedings per day can be arranged at no additional charge.

Boarding

At the Bowser B&B, your dog is housed in a clean, climate controlled, walled room with a home-like atmosphere. Facilities include a furnished family room, 24 hour TV, and an indoor play pavilion for inclement weather. We provide bedding, blankets, and all the creature comforts of home.
Your Bowser will experience 3 two-hour play sessions per day with dogs of similar play style and temperament. Bowser B&B features six grass, fenced, and safe play yards on our property. The largest play yard, Dog-park, is an expansive three acre area for roaming, fetching, and playing.
Play sessions are designed to relieve stress and create a tired, relaxed dog that is able to rest. Because your dog is taken out at regular intervals, house training is maintained.

Training

With safe, humane, and effective positive reinforcement methods, we will help begin the training process by consulting with your family regarding your specific training needs. We troubleshoot any behavioral problems you are currently experiencing with your dog, and create a system that is custom tailored to meet your training goals.

Whether you choose our two week Jump Start program or Bowser Boot Camp, your dog will enjoy two training sessions per day with our professional staff and three closely monitored interactive play sessions with well-socialized dogs in our Bowser B&B boarding facility. All training programs include pick-up and delivery service as well a boarding at the Bowser B&B.
